YUERS, Larry David
January 7, 1938 – December 29, 2022
Larry passed away on December 29, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Larry was a loving husband to his beloved wife of 60 years, Marion. Born to Harvey and Margaret Yuers in Eloise, Saskatchewan, Larry came to Calgary in 1957 to start a new life. He took up welding, then went on to become an electrician, which he loved. In 1978 he made his lifelong dream come true when he and Marion bought their ranch northwest of Cochrane. Larry loved nothing better than working. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. Larry and Marion spent many happy winters in California, then in their second home in Arizona. Larry leaves behind his four sons; Brent (Kathy), Darren, Shawn and Jason (Corina); his much loved grandson Owen, Owen was always there to help his Grandpa and that’s where he learned his good work habits; sister-in-law Barbara Peyton; sister-in-law Jean Podovinikoff; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends too numerous to mention. He will now rest in peace with all his loved ones who went before him. The family would like to thank the Cochrane Paliative Care Team.
