Drop-in centre bustling with Christmas activities

During the last week of November, the Drop-In Centre will be bustling with Christmas preparations. Our second annual Christmas Market and Bake Sale happens on Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Nov. 23, last call for craft table rental.

On Nov. 28 at 10 a.m. the Drop-In area and auditorium will be decorated. Many hands make light work so come out and help create a Christmas wonderland.

Bake up a Christmas storm and on Nov. 30, and the morning of the sale, drop off your goodies for the bake table. We need lots of cookies, cakes, breads and more to keep the bake sale going on into the afternoon.

Shop till you drop at the craft tables and then stop by for a cup of tea or coffee and snack (free will donation).

On Dec. 7, the annual Christmas Dinner takes place at 5:30 p.m. Only $25 for a fully catered turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Purchase your tickets by Nov. 29 at 4 p.m. Instead of gifts bring a donation for the food bank. Dress in your Christmas finery and enjoy caroling and socializing.

Julian will demonstrate French Canadian cooking on Nov. 28 at 11 a.m.

Nov. 29 at 10:30 a.m. learn about Healthy Eating on a Budget plus Tips for Cooking as an Empty Nester.

Come out and enjoy the pre-Christmas activities at Seniors on the Bow.
