Letter: Support wildlife this upcoming holiday season

Dear editor, A cozy home, plenty of food, safe passage – we are not the only ones who wish for these comforts this holiday season. However, we do have the unique opportunity to make these wishes come true for wildlife.

Dear editor,

A cozy home, plenty of food, safe passage – we are not the only ones who wish for these comforts this holiday season.

However, we do have the unique opportunity to make these wishes come true for wildlife.

In December, leaders from around the world will come together in Montreal for the UN Biodiversity Conference (an event known as COP 15), where one of the goals will be to develop a global biodiversity framework. The world has wishes for wildlife and we need a clear set of actions to to make them come true. While governments play an important role, this is work we all need to do together.

A gift from you today can help make wildlife wishes come true. Every single gift you give is directly helping our wild species and the habitat they call home. When you make your wish for wildlife, it helps the Canadian Wildlife Federation plan our conservation work for today and for the future.

From each of us at CWF, we wish you the very best this holiday season and thank you for your continued and dedicated support in creating a better and brighter future for Canada’s wildlife and their habitat.
