On Saturday I was inspired by Cochrane’s amazing volunteers. I’m talking about the food drive organized by Helping Hands and Cochrane Activettes.
This event was well organized and equally well participated in by the community.
This was extra special for me as I got to witness my 10 yr old girls tell me over and over again how much fun they had and that it was “extra fun” because they got to help someone. I am shameless in my gushing pride of my girls taking this small but important step to embracing community spirit!
But my girls weren’t the only youth at this event and were only a small part of a much bigger effort! Thank you to all the organizers of this event, my volunteer buddy Larry, Margaret and Shelly that connected me to this event and to all my fellow volunteers!
