LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Minister’s letter shows lack of respect to the vaccinated

The citizens of Cochrane-Airdrie have been put in the position of defending themselves against people refusing vaccinations

Peter Guthrie’s letter asking our premier to apologize for showing a lack of respect to people refusing vaccinations is offensive.

The minority - the people refusing vaccination - have taken the freedom of the majority.

Apologizing for this group of people is akin to condoning any group that causes social or physical harm to the majority and therefore willingly disrupts the economic well-being of the greater society.

The majority of vaccinated people in Cochrane-Airdrie have lost access to health care, medical procedures, the right to congregate with family and friends, and in many cases the right to pursue a livelihood.

The citizens of Cochrane-Airdrie have been put in the position of defending themselves against people refusing vaccinations. They are threatening our personal freedoms by refusing vaccinations.
