I am a senior living in Big Hill Lodge.
The Cochrane people have been so very thoughtful to us ALL through this COVID-19 time.
During the summer there were groups that came and played their musical instruments for us. Some drove their classic cars by for ys to see. Some people came thru our parking lot to show off their Halloween costumes. Some encouraged us as they carried thoughtful signs past our windows.
AND people never stopped giving to us during the Christmas season.
All this from people, most of us whom had never met us!!
All age groups sent us Christmas cards and gifts of shapes and sizes, even flowers for every room!
A five-year-old in one family, after painting many cards to us all said, "My hand is tired, but I feel good inside."
Well, we sure "felt good" when we received them.
What would have been an awfully lonely season without our families gave us love.
Out staff is the absolute best ever so we are wrapped in love and care.
I am hopeful next year I may be able to help out and get out too!
