Unfortunate proof that thieves are looking for an opportunity to strike in Cochrane:
You’d think that a lock would deter a would-be thief from stealing property but not the case; my covered cargo mate trailer, containing two ATVs and a snowmobile, was stolen from the yard beside Advantage Storage in the Griffin Industrial Park sometime in March.
In addition to losing the property and suffering the monetary loss, this is a wake-up call for me (and should be for everybody else) that thieves are looking for an opportunity to strike “in our own back yards” and that precautions (in addition to locks) need to be taken to prevent loss. A reward is being offered to anybody with information leading to the arrest or the person(s) responsible or return of the goods.
