I am excited to introduce myself as the newest reporter at the Cochrane Eagle. As a born-and-raised Calgarian, I have been to Cochrane a few times before, but I am eager to learn more about this fast-growing community.

The first Banff Marathon was scheduled for last June. The route was marked, aid stations readied and people, not just from Canada, but all over the world had arrived in town to run. Then the rains came.

With summer finally upon us there are many more reasons for the residents of Cochrane to get out and meet, greet, chat and engage.
