Due to improving conditions as a result of the recent snowfall, Rocky View County Fire Services has lifted its Fire Advisory for both east and west Rocky View County.
"Effective immediately, there are no fire advisories or bans in...the County, and permit burning is allowed," stated a press release from the County.
The release reminded residents who live in the county to follow safe burning practices.
"Please note that while the fire advisory has been lifted in west Rocky View County, there may still be advisories or bans in neighbouring municipalities," it read. "For information on fire bans and advisories in other areas of the province, visit AlbertaFireBans.ca"
