DIONNE, Joseph Alfred (Alf)
Joseph Alfred (Alf) Dionne left us peacefully with family by his side on September 18, 2020 at the age of 96 years. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 67 years Frances Dionne; his children: Mabelyn (Bill) Fehr, Gayle Dionne, Gladstone (Charlene) Dionne, and Joy (Randy) Fenton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many relatives and great friends. Dad was predeceased by his parents and all three of his siblings. Dad was born in Pincher Creek, Alberta, and moved to Cochrane as a teenager. He met Mom and they made Cochrane their home for us kids. Dad enjoyed being outdoors, especially if horses were involved. Hunting, guiding, fishing, camping, and a horseback ride in the mountains with good friends were a huge part of his life. A Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens (1605 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19, please note that both masks and social distancing are required.
