LANGLOIS, Pierre Gaetan
March 15, 1951 - June 20, 2023
With a heavy heart we announce the passing of Pierre Gaetan Langlois, 72, of Cochrane, AB, on June 20 at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, AB.
Pierre was well known and respected in the hospitality industry in and around Calgary.
His passion, as a Chef, was Italian Cuisine and for 15 years, until 2019, he proudly owned and operated Portofino Italian Ristorante in Cochrane, AB. He will be remembered by his many loyal customers for his kindness, easy manner, and sense of humour.
He is survived by Jacquie Sleeth, his partner of 25 years; son Robert Langlois; two grandchildren, Reese, and Shyla Auclair; sisters, Lisette Letendre and Louise Langlois, and three brothers, Gaston, Denis and Claude. He was predeceased by two brothers Serge and Gile; and sadly, by his son Christian in March 2023.
He will also be greatly missed by his extended family, Jennifer Dowler and her children Matthew and Marcus.
