MILLARVILE - A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a crash on Highway 22 near Millarville.
Turner Valley RCMP said in a press release that a motor vehicle accident involving a cyclist occurred at the intersection of Highway 22 and Highway 549.
The crash happened at about 11:45 a.m. on June 26
Highway 22 is closed and traffic is being diverted onto Highway 549 as the crash is investigated, RCMP said.
The road closure is expected to last four to six hours, RCMP said.
The cyclist was transported to hospital by STARS with unknown injuries.
No further information is available at this time.
