New and experienced artists will feature their talents this month at the Foothills Art Club’s annual Fall Art Show and Sale.
President Karen Stienstra said pieces from $10 to about $200 will be available for purchase – and many artists will also be on hand to discuss their watercolours, acrylics, oil paintings and more.
The Foothills Art Club has been celebrating area artists since 2005, when a small group of creators founded the club as a way to unite their passion and share their skills. Club members support each other as they explore different facets of the craft, critique one another’s work and attend monthly learning workshops.
This season’s showcase takes place Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Andrews United Church. Admission is free, as are refreshments, and there will be a draw for an original framed painting. For more information, contact Karen at [email protected] or Gwen at (403) 932-4520.
