Due to unfortunate circumstances the Cochrane Comedy Fest, scheduled for July 22 to 24, has been cancelled.

Jake Hirsch, of Jake Hirsch Entertainment Group and the event organizer, explained a last-minute change in venue for the festival meant he might not receive the proper permits in time for the event. He anticipates to start planning for a comedy festival this fall.

In the meantime, Hirsch has organized two comedy nights for July 23 and 24 as part of Yuk Yuk's On Tour.

Todd Ness, the 2014 winner of the Yuk Yuk's Chase Your Butterfly Contest, will be headlining at the Hideout Pub on July 23. The evening will also feature special guests Bobby Warrner, Paul Cann, and Nav Ghali.

Tickets for the event are $20 each or the dinner package is $35 each. For reservations, stop by the Hideout Pub.

Garrett Clark, who has toured the world performing stand-up comedy and featured on Just for Laughs 42 Festival, will be headlining at the Townhall Public House on July 24. The evening will also feature special guests Dion Arnold and Brett Forte.

Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased online at yukyuks.com.
