Kids of Cochrane can haunt the hallways of the Nan Boothby Memorial Library and the Cochrane RancheHouse at a pair of Halloween-themed haunts happening next week.

On Oct, 29, the library will host A Happenin’ Halloween Party: a free event from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with spooky stories, games, a costume contest – and a monsterlicious movie.

The next day, children can creep over to the Cochrane RancheHouse for the annual Goblin Gathering on Oct. 30. The family-friendly afternoon is filled with Halloween-themed crafts, games, performers, and some trick or treating, too.

The long-standing town tradition gets underway at 2 p.m. and is $8 for children 6 and under. Register by calling 403-851-2534 or visiting www.cochrane.ca/eservices.
