Enzo and the Ferraris will be taking the stage at the Water Valley Church Events Centre on July 2.

The five-member band was formed six years ago playing instrumental rock cover songs.

“It’s a very guitar-oriented kind of band. It’s not the sort of music you find in a regular bar,” said Enzo Ribaric.

Eventually the band transitioned to playing songs written by Ribaric. What’s unique about the music is the choice to exclude vocals in their songs in order to let the audience focus on the music.

“It has a certain connotation that is expressed more through what we see rather than having somebody singing or talking about the song,” Ribaric said.

“I wrote quite a few instrumental guitar songs, we’ll have an album coming soon. We’ll perform a couple of those songs at the event on July 2,” Ribaric explained.

Ribaric said a lot of the info about his songs is in the titles and the left is up to interpretation.

“If we call the song Storm Wave, most likely you’ll experience what it’s like being in a storm wave. That’s the only indication you get – it’s a different kind of experience from the music point of view,” Ribaric explained.
