Cochrane’s location on Bow Ridge Road has two upcoming “Ice Ice Baby” workshops – one for children and another for adults – beginning this week for those who want to pour and play with the innovative material.

“We’re the only place that uses it,” Chapman said, adding the material is constantly tilted and moved before it dries to create a one-of-a-kind pattern. “It’s pretty new to me as well.”

The winter-themed two-class mini sessions start today at 7 p.m. for adults, and tomorrow at 4 p.m. for kids. The second one-hour session takes place at the same times next Thursday and Friday, Nov. 10 and 11.

Registration is still open at http://www.4cats.com/cochrane/class/ice-ice-baby/.
