Cochranites can boogie all night long on New Year’s Eve – with a number of places around town pulling out all the stops to usher in 2017.

Here’s a rundown of a number of different festivities to help you make the most of your Dec. 31:

Dinner at 5:30 p.m. | Late Night at 9 p.m.

Enjoy a three-course dinner and late night festivities or join for just one or the other at TownHall’s New Year’s party. Bubbly will be served at midnight and a DJ spins tunes all evening. Prices range from $20 to $50 – tickets available at ticketweb.ca/venue/townhall-public-house-cochrane-cochrane-ab/433695.

Cocktails at 6 p.m. | Dinner at 7:30 p.m.

The Cochrane RancheHouse is putting on a New Year’s Eve buffet dinner and dance! Tickets are $50 and will be on sale until 4 p.m. on Dec 22. Party favours and champagne toast included. Call 403-851-2561 for reservations.

Dinner at 6 p.m.

A full prime rib dinner kicks off a night of festivities at Killarney’s, where Rob Skeet will entertain. Party favours, midnight champagne and snacks round out the evening. Tickets are $45 and available at the Irish pub.

Enjoy a three-course steak and lobster dinner for $35 or just enjoy the party for $10 at The Venue. Live entertainment, featuring Hurricane Lisa and the Jim Baxter Band. A midnight champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight caps off the festivities. Tickets available now at the Railway Street East bar.

Dinner at 6 p.m. | Dance at 11 p.m.

Double D & the Booty Jam will serenade into 2017 at the Texas Gate’s annual bash. For $40, revellers get a surf n’ turf steak and lobster dinner, gunslinger theatre by Guns of the Golden West, party favours, champagne and a midnight buffet. Prizes for the best dressed. If you’re just looking to dance, admission is $15 after 11 p.m. Call (403) 932-2442 or (403) 807-2761 for tickets.

Dinner at 6 p.m.

A delectable three-course menu is the place to be for foodies on New Year’s Eve. For $50, just some of the options include seafood bisque, Ahi tuna sushi pizza, Cajun ribeye steak and lemon meringue doughnuts. Regular menu items also available. Reservations can be made by calling (403) 851-2112.

Party at 8 p.m.

Ring in the New Year at the Royal Canadian Legion. Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members and include appetizers and live music by Newman Willis. Families welcome. Reserve in person or at eventbrite.ca.

Party at 9 p.m.

There’s no cover charge at Ducks, where a DJ will spin tunes all evening long. Party favours and champagne will be handed out when the clock strikes 12.
