I hope many of your readers got a chance to see the display of High School students’ art at Java Jamboree over the past several weeks.
While the art techniques and quality of imagery are fantastic, what really made me stop and take notice was the creativity of the art. There were many styles and types of mediums used and the originality of a lot of the work was certainly worth exhibiting. I can only imagine that the environment at the schools where these students study and create is wonderful, and the teaching compliments what can be seen in the exhibit.
This letter is a bit late because the exhibit will be taken down this week, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to congratulate all involved.
Well done, and I’ll bet we will see some of you graduating from some place like ACAD (Alberta College of Art and Design) in the future.
