Next time Cochrane residents are in Calgary or other area communities, be sure to fill up your gas tanks, but please avoid the big players who determine our prices. Those companies are treating those of us who live in Cochrane with total disrespect.
While we might wish to shop locally, there is absolutely no reason for our regular gasoline to be priced at 9 cents per liter higher in Cochrane, other than for the greed and giggles of the companies.
Fill up every week or so, and we are paying between $280 and $460 or more each year to these merchants.
Best to buy from Co-op or an independent while in Calgary, but avoid the big companies if at all possible.
