Dear editor:
I can only sit here and think that people need to come out to see how many kids are enjoying curling and swimming and being active in the community.
I am glad some people have had the opportunity to curl for so many years, and hopefully my two kids will too.
Being active for life is the key, and having facilities that families can use is the way to go. We cannot keep our heads in the sand and expect the current curling club and pool to limp along for another few years as is.
My family has spent over 80 years in Cochrane, and if every time there was an opportunity to improve ourselves we did not, we would not have a town to be proud of.
