Dear Editor:

Around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 5 we were en route to the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre to attend our son’s bantam hockey game.

However, upon our arrival, we were horrified to discover his goalie equipment hadn’t arrived with us.

Needless to say, our son didn’t attend his scheduled game as we were frantically driving up and down Highway 22, to/from Cochrane Lakes Road to the SLSFSC looking for the lost bag.

We’ve spent many hours looking for the bag; or hoping someone would turn it in, or would at least post a notice either on a local bulletin board or on Kijiji announcing they’d found it. No one has. It’s pretty hard to believe that a bag that size could disappear into thin air, but it has.

It is a brand-new blue/grey Bauer roller hockey bag full of Vaughn/Bauer white/red/black goalie equipment and a black goalie helmet.

If you have any information, please contact the RCMP.

If you’re in possession of our hockey bag/equipment, please turn it in to the RCMP or to one of our local hockey rinks, no questions asked.
