Dear editor:
Cochrane still has lots of small town attitude.
I filled up my car with gas at the Fas Gas service station and was about to add windshield washer fluid.
The temperature was about -8 degrees C and I was having trouble opening the bottle, because my hands were already cold and I have quite a bit of arthritis in my hands.
There was a young lady on the other side of the pump who noticed this and came over to offer assistance.
So, even though the big box stores are coming to Cochrane, I see no need to fear the loss of the small town atmosphere and caring attitude to which we have grown accustomed.
