Dear editor:
My wife and I wanted to say thank you to the police officers who handled the armed suspect incident in West Valley last week.
Your bravery often goes un-thanked and we wanted you all to know that the residents of Cochrane truly appreciate the brave work that you do to keep our community safe.
So thank you to all RCMP officers, the RCMP ERT (emergency response) team, Calgary Police Services’ HAWCS helicopter and any other police involved for handling the situation quickly, and most of all, safely.
