I read a “meme” online earlier today that said, “Liberals will vote Liberal and Conservatives will vote Conservative … no matter what.”
This “partial truism” absolutely astounds me. I believe most Canadians would agree the Conservatives aren’t as “dyed in the wool” as the Lib’s but logic, breaking ethics codes and overall poor leadership records will not make one iota of difference to the majority of the “left” voters.
It’s no different really than what happens south of the border with Democrats and Republicans (although we as Canadians should be smarter about such things).
After all, the US actually impeached and bounced the only lawbreaking President in its recent history (at least the one who got caught). We’re talking about “fining” our guy. Wow. How tough are we. Sheer insanity.
And, besides, Nixon was only caught with one leg out of trousers. Our guy has been a Gong Show since he first got into office (budgets will look after themselves…..RIIIGGGGHHHT).
October 21, 2019 is Canada’s second D-DAY. Make no mistake this D-DAY is every bit as important as that one that took place in 1945.
Get out and vote and let this administration know we’re onto them.
