Cochrane's 4iiii Innovations Inc. have announced their partnership with UCI WorldTour newcomers Israel Start-Up Nation.

Israel earned the nickname "start-up nation" because it has the largest number of startups per capita in the world or around one startup per 1,400 people, according to the non-profit membership trade organization APEX.

The nation’s penchant to promote and support innovation aligns with Cochrane’s desire to have a place in the global innovation playing field.

“As 4iiii’s mission is to innovate responsibly for our collective future, we are proud to be aligned with a team who is connecting innovation, technology and peace through this renowned and respected sport platform,” said Janelle Chubey, managing director at 4iiii Innovations.

“Aligning and forming a strong partnership with Israel Start-Up Nation is one we can embrace and stand behind.”

Israel Start-Up Nation has chosen 4iiii Innovations to be the supplier for the company’s dual-sided precision Powermetres and Viiiva heart rate monitors for 2020. 4iiii Innovations’ devices help athletes train and reach peak performance.

4iiii provides the world’s lightest and most accurate power meters,” says Jost Zevnik, Operations Manager of Israel Start-Up Nation.

“Their heart rate monitor technology is trusted and popular in global cycling communities and their dedication and support to our team has been exceptional.”

The UCI WorldTour is a premier men’s elite road cycling tour. The Israel Start-Up Nation team was launched in 2014 with the aim of developing young cyclists especially from Israel. The team’s first victory came in the fourth stage of the 2015 Tour d'Azerbaïdjan.

4iiii was co-founded in Cochrane by Kip Fyfe in 2010 and is located at 141 2 Ave E.
