Annual Cochrane Christmas market this weekend

The annual Christmas market at the Cochrane RancheHouse will have over 70 vendors this Sunday, Nov. 22.

The annual Christmas market at the Cochrane RancheHouse will have over 70 vendors this Sunday, Nov. 22.

With a great diversity of fine crafts, jewelry, home furnishings, decorations, clothing, photography, art and more, organizers say there is a good mix of everything.

“You can get all your Christmas shopping done in one spot because there will be something for everyone – and it is a good way to support local small businesses,” said organizer Roz Edge-Kossowan.

On top of more than 70 vendors, the fifth annual market will also have food trucks outside for hungry shoppers; the Cochrane Fiddlers will be playing throughout the day; and there will be photos with Santa available for a fee, with all of the photo proceeds to go towards the Boys and Girls Club of Cochrane and Area.

“We hope we have good weather and hopefully we get the same turnout as last year and hopefully everyone does well,” Edge-Kossowan said.

Organizers will also be accepting donations for the Cochrane Food Bank.

The fifth annual Christmas Market will be this Sunday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Cochrane RancheHouse, located at 101 RancheHouse Road. Entry is $2.
