The annual Beaupre Artists’ Guild Show and Sale will be held June 20 and 21, at the Beaupre Community Hall located at 264257 Beaupre Creek Road (15 minutes west of Cochrane on Highway 40).
It runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and will include paintings in a variety of subjects and mediums: fibre art, metal art, hand-turned wood bowls, photography, etchings and carved gourds.
In an email from the group, they describe the guild as “…a low key, relaxed group of artists who create art together for the simple joy of being creative and the camaraderie of sharing the experience together.”
According to the guild, they are not a venue for promoting particular artists and certain artists advertise and promote themselves individually through the Cochrane Art Guide.
Business cards of members will be available at the show and refreshments will be provided for attendees.
