Join Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Calgary and Area for their third annual Bowl For Kids happening Mar. 20 at Cochrane Lanes.
Happening at 11-402 Railway Street West, teams of 4-6 people can register for one of the two-hour time slots between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. that day.
Teams are asked to fundraise $100 per player or $400 per team to participate. All proceeds from the event will go to BBBS Cochrane to help with cost of operations.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area is a donor-supported, volunteer-driven organization founded on mentoring as a proven strategy for ensuring resiliency, future orientation and social support for children and youth,” states BBBS Calgary and Area’s website.
Currently, about 14 teams are registered for the event while the event organizers are hoping to have around 24 teams.
There will be free food and pop provided, and multiple door prizes will be up for grabs.
The fun tournament is for all ages, with no experience needed.
