The annual Spirit of Christmas returned to Bragg Creek last weekend and is back this Dec. 9 and 10 as the seasonal ramp-up for the arrival of Saint Nicholas nears.
Creekers and tourists alike are encouraged to take a tour around the hamlet in a horse-drawn sleigh, get aquainted with Santa’s friendly reindeer, learn about the magic of reindeer food, decorate cookies and dig into some crafts or enjoy a bite to eat and peruse for one-of-a-kind gifts from the various Bragg Creek restaurants and shoppes.
Festivities take place in the heart of the hamlet and offer old-fashioned fare and fun in a quieter setting than nearby urban centres have to offer.
The annual event is sponsored by the Bragg Creek Chamber of Commerce and various local businesses.
