Daytime high temperatures ranging from 29 to 34 degrees Celsius are expected in Bragg Cree today, leading Environment Canada to issue a heat warning for the hamlet.

"Temperatures will moderate slightly tonight and Tuesday before the heat returns on Wednesday," stated a news posting on TheWeatherNetwork.com.

According to the posting, heat warnings are issued when very high temperatures are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat-related illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion. During heat advisories and warnings, Environment Canada reminds people to drink water, limit or avoide physical exertion in the heat, and seek shade, when possible.
