“Ensuring fiscal responsibility must begin with financial transparency, doing the business of the town in the open for all to see. Transparency in government spending, making facts and figures public will have real consequences. Accountability and change! By offering an inside look at our spending citizens will be informed and Council will be kept honest. We will implement this practice so that you can see where your money is being spent. Keeping taxes in check while balancing much needed infrastructure will be challenging. Raising taxes and cutting services is not the path I would choose to take, I will attempt to look for funds in other areas before reaching into citizens pockets therefore holding the line on tax increases.
