With just over a month until Christmas, it is time to start making that Holiday shopping list, and the fourth annual Cochrane Christmas Market will offer a chance to get a head start.

The event will take place Sunday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cochrane RancheHouse. Organizer Roz Edge-Kossowan said that the market has been busier each year and that all of their 70 tables are taken this time around, with a waitlist.

“I’m focusing more on artisan vendors this year,” said Edge-Kossowan. “There is a little something for everybody.”

Edge-Kossowan said this year’s vendors would include pottery, painting, knitting, jewelry, woodwork, leatherwork, floral design and much more.

New this year will be a shuttle service, taking people from the RancheHouse to the parking lot that is a short walk from the event. A returning favourite to this year’s event will be Santa Claus, returning to take photos, with proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of Cochrane.

Admission is $1, with those 12 and under entering for free.
