Cochrane RCMP recovers hundreds of stolen items and are asking any locals who had their homes broken earlier this summer to view the photos posted by the Alberta RCMP.

During a recent investigation Cochrane RCMP recovered hundreds of stolen items, many of it being returned to the rightful owners, however some of the property has yet to be identified.

The stolen items are from multiple break-and-enter thefts that occurred between June 15 and Aug. 28 in Cochrane, Didsbury, Airdrie, and Strathmore.

“A break and enter is a very traumatic experience for victims and we don’t always recover what has been stolen,” said Sergeant Jeff Campbell of Cochrane RCMP in a press release.

“But in this case, we’ve made a significant discovery and we really want to reunite those property owners with their things.”

Some of the stolen items include jewelry, watches, coins, computer equipment and electronics.

Anyone in Cochrane who had their home broken into can view these items on facebook.com/RCMPinAlberta.

Those who can positively identify their belongings and can provide information to support their claims are asked to contact the Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000.
