The Cochrane Bridal Fair will be taking place Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Cochrane RancheHouse from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is $20 per person at the door. Tickets purchased online are 20 per cent off with the use of the promotional code “TWENTY%OFF”.
The event will feature a variety of local vendors and will hold three fashion shows taking place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. The fashion shows will feature bridal gowns, destination-wear, and menswear.
Services and products that will be offered at the fair will range from wedding dresses, photographers, DJ’s, caterers, and more. Ten door prizes equaling a total of $3,500 in products and services have been donated by various vendors for the event. There will also be a grand prize draw for a $500 VISA gift card.
To be entered for the prizes, brides will receive a “passport” upon their arrival at the fair that requires signatures from vendors donating door prizes. Once they get the signatures needed, they can return the “passport” to event staff to be entered into the draws. Limo service will be provided for the event from the overflow parking lot.
Fabutan, one of many vendors that will be present, is attending the event for the first time to offer specials to brides, bridesmaids, mothers of the brides, and mother-in-laws. The indoor tanning studio offers tanning services, eyelash extensions, and red light skin rejuvenation. They will have a live exhibit of someone getting eyelash extensions applied to demonstrate to potential clients.
Also at the event that day will be Gourmet to Go, one of three preferred caterers for the RancheHouse. Gourmet to Go has been a vendor at every Cochrane Bridal Fair and will be offering all the necessary info about their wedding catering services. They will also be serving a tasting of a “surf-and-turf” and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Robyn Kirkpatrick, a local photographer and makeup artist, is another first-time vendor attending the event. She will be offering a 25% off discount for boudoir photography and waiving the trial make-up fee for bridal parties that book with her. Kirkpatrick has generously donated a door prize for the event. One lucky bride will win a free boudoir photo session with professional makeup application with Kirkpatrick.
She will also be providing make-up services for the fashion shows at the fair.
At the event will be a complimentary juice and pop bar.
