ROCKY VIEW— Cochrane RCMP are investigating a shooting that occurred west of Woodland Estates Monday (July 19) morning.
RCMP were called to the scene at 6:05 a.m. and upon arrival located a 21-year-old victim who had suffered a non-life-threatening injury to his lower body.
During the investigation, Cochrane RCMP utilized a police dog and Emergency Response Team to clear the area.
The Cochrane General Investigative Section has been dispatched to investigate.
There is believed to be no danger to the public at the time, and no further details are expected.
