The Cochrane and Area Humane Society (CAHS) and Cochrane ATB Financial are joining forces to launch a fundraiser that will run Nov. 19-29, where pet lovers can bid at cochranehumane.ca for their chance to win their pet’s photo as the face of the CAHS ATB Gold Rewards MasterCard for one year. The bidding has opened up for pet lovers who wish to see their pet’s mug become the face for the Cochrane and Area Humane Society (CAHS) ATB Financial Gold Rewards MasterCard.

From Nov. 19-29, proud pet owners who are willing to put their money where their hearts are can bid online for the chance to have their pet’s face plastered on the no-fee MasterCard for one year.

The partnership between CAHS and ATB Financial is motivated by the financial institution’s passion for ‘donating to Alberta communities and supporting causes that are true to Albertans’.

The goal is to raise $2,500 to go toward CAHS programming.

The opportunity for further fundraising would open up for card holders who choose to donate their points back to the CAHS.

“Long-term and short-term, this partnership is going to support our animals. Short-term through the eBay auction, middle term through an ATB donation to CAHS with each card activation, and long-term through the option given to cardholders to donate their points back to CAHS,” said Brooks Tower, fund development officer for CAHS.
