On Nov. 21, the RCMP responded to a collision on Highway 1, approximately two kilometres west of Highway 22, when driver forced another vehicle off the road.

The complainant, who was driving a black Toyota Corolla in the eastbound slow lane of the Highway, told the RCMP that around 4 p.m. a light-coloured pick-up truck was driving closely behind when the truck moved into the passing lane. The other driver then swerved into the Toyota driver causing the driver to lose control, hit the guardrail and rollover into the median.

The driver of the Toyota sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene by EMS and released. The suspect failed to remain on scene.

RCMP is now searching for a light-coloured pickup, similar to a Ford F150 and Dodge Ram 1500.

If you have any information about this or any other incident, contact the Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
