Listed below are the changes to fees:

Subdivision and Development Appeal Board appeal fee was reduced to $200 from $250 and the parking in lieu was increased to $20,000 per stall from $10,000 per stall.

Building permit fees up four per cent

New water metres up 2.9 per cent

Event permit fee from $30 to $50

RancheHouse events three per cent increase in non-wedding event fees and nine per cent increase in wedding event fees.

Annual business licence renewals are due Jan. 31. One-year licences are $160 for residents and $320 for non-residents.

January is also an annual reminder to renew business and animals licences.

Business licence applications can be made online. All licence fees can be paid online, in person at the RancheHouse or by cheque.

Animal licences are valid for one year and renewals are staggered throughout the year. Those households with pets will not experience a fee increase from 2016.

Spayed/neutered dogs cost $35, doubling to $70 for dogs that have not been spayed nor neutered.

Spayed/neutered cats cost $15, increasing to $40 for cats that have not been spayed nor neutered.
