Cochrane Mental Health is partnering up with the Town of Cochrane’s Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), Cochrane Community Helpers, and the Cochrane Movie House to offer a free movie to the community.

In honour of Mental Health Week, which is May 2 to 8, the Movie House will be playing the movie HAPPY free of charge on May 4. There will be two show times for the movie, one at 7 p.m. and one at 9 p.m.

“Taking us from the bayous of Louisiana to the deserts of Namibia, from the beaches of Brazil to the villages of Okinawa, HAPPY explores the secrets behind our most valued emotion,” states the movie’s website.

Tickets for the movie are available for pick up at the FCSS office at 209 2 Ave West. Cochrane Movie House’s concession is cash-only, there is an ATM on the premise.
