The Cochrane Farmers' market will have two homes this summer
— a weekly outdoor market and a once per month evening market.
Where: Historic Cochrane Ranche Site, located north of Highway 1A just west of downtown.
When: Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., rain or shine starting June 2 to Sept. 29.
Historic Downtown Market:
At the evening market, customers experience a unique shopping experience in Historic Downtown enjoying market vendors, artisans, food trucks, music, buskers and late night shopping at local businesses.
Where: 1st Street West, Historic Downtown
When: One Thursday per month, 5 to 9 p.m.
Dates: June 21, July 19, Aug. 16, Sept. 13
Bearspaw Lions Farmers' Market
This market will have 112 vendors as well as food trucks selling barbecued sausages, waggles, mini donuts, specialty coffees, and other items. The market touts high quality produce and other items for purchase, 90 percent of which is home grown, made or baked.
Where: 25240 Nagway Road, found on the north side of highway 1A highway just outside of Calgary city limits towards Cochrane, between 12 Mile Coulee Road and Bearspaw Road.
When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Season: June 3 to Sept. 30
