Glenbow Ranch sets date for Inidgenous Day celebration

After its original plans to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day were washed out by intense rain and flooding on June 21, Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park has set a date for its rescheduled Indigenous Day Celebration.

After its original plans to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day were washed out by intense rain and flooding on June 21, Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park has set a date for its rescheduled Indigenous Day Celebration.

“After much planning and coordinating, the new date for our Indigenous Day event will be Aug. 23, states the park's website. “Mark your calendars and come out and enjoy a celebration of the traditions and culture of the Stoney Nakoda people.”

According to the park's website, the day will feature traditional dance, music, games, art and more.
