Residents of Cochrane and area knew that last week's dismal forecast was a taste of what was yet to come.
Well, the white stuff is back.
If you were on the roads early this morning you were one of many slow moving vehicles carefully negotiating intersections and residential streets. Cochrane RCMP Const. Jennifer Brewer said 11 collisions were reported since 6 a.m., with no injuries.
"Today we had a few calls about stranded vehicles leaving the roadways," she said. "We would like to remind motorists to proceed with caution."
Brewer added that if you don't need to be somewhere, just stay home.
Cochrane's forecast looks more promising as the week progresses. Environment Canada reports that Friday will see a high of 10 C and Saturday a high of 11 C.
Now that you've found your snow brush, it's probably best that you keep your winter jacket and other cold weather accessories on standby.
Drive safe.
