Families will be bundled up for another season thanks to Cochrane’s Family & Community Support Services (FCSS). The annual Jacket Racket was a “great success” according to organizers.

Families will be bundled up for another season thanks to Cochrane’s Family & Community Support Services (FCSS).

The annual Jacket Racket was a “great success” according to organizers. Thanks to donations from the community there was a line up to the parking lot at the and it was the biggest turn out to date with jackets, boots and other winter accessories going to 143 adults and 106 children. Extra winter wear was donated to the Clothesline and Stoney Nakoda Nation.

This is the third year FCSS has run the event with an estimated 207 participants the first year and 226 participants last year.
