A kindergarten class at Elizabeth Barrett School is asking for Cochranites to keep an eye and phone out for any wildlife they encounter.

The class of 27 students is attempting to track animal sightings in Cochrane by having people in the community photograph and share their animal encounters on Instagram.

They’ll be looking for posts that have the date and place of the sighting, as well as the hashtag #wildanimalsincochrane.

The photos will be used to make a map showing what animals have been seen and where they are most frequently spotted.
