Lyle Bearspaw, 23, was charged with assault and kidnapping with a firearm after an 18-year-old male was abducted from Stoney Nakoda First Nation.
He was held for less than 24 hours on Jan 24 and released with condition.
On June 27, he was back in jail and slapped with 10 charges, including one charge of possession of a dangerous weapon, one charge of methamphetamine, and two counts of possessing stolen property
Bearspaw has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance at Cochrane Provincial Court
During the kidnapping investigation four suspects were located, one was released with no charges and the other three were charged with assault and kidnapping with a fireman.
