Eighteen-year-old Jacob Robert Dal Pra of Cochrane has been charged with ‘possession for the purpose of trafficking’ and made his first appearance in Cochrane Provincial Court Nov. 18.
At around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 9, Cochrane RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the parking lot in front of the Cochrane and Area Boys and Girls Club, located on Fifth Ave.
The driver of the vehicle appeared to be nervous and officers detected the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle’s interior. An investigation revealed the discovery of marijuana, ecstasy and other suspected drugs inside the vehicle.
