Stolen property, possession of heroin and failing to comply with conditions of release are just some of the charges a Morley woman is facing after being arrested on Monday.

Tanya Megan Mark, 28, from Morley, was remanded into custody after a week-long investigation through which the Cochrane RCMP uncovered more than six stolen vehicles from Cochrane, Calgary and surrounding communities earlier this month.

Cpl. Troy Savinkoff with the Cochrane RCMP said the case relates to many property crimes that occurred in the area over recent months.

Mark is facing: 11 counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000, two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, three possession of drug charges with heroin and methamphetamine; two counts of failing to comply with conditions of release.

The case is going through Cochrane Provincial Court with Mark expected to appear for the first hearing later this month.
