On Dec. 15 Nakoda Elementary School will be hosting its Family Christmas Concert inviting guests to come around 11:45 a.m. for lunch with refreshments to be served from 12-12:45 p.m. The concert will begin at 1 p.m. and run for 90 minutes in the NES gym.
Before the concert there will be door prizes, parent questionnaire, information tables and a bake sale for fundraising. There will also be a draw for an autographed Calgary Flames Michael Ferland jersey and cap. Tickets will be available beforehand for: 1 ticket-$5; 3 tickets-$10; 10 tickets-$20.
First draw will win the autographed cap and the second draw will win the autographed jersey.
All proceeds will go to the Student Christmas Hamper. For information on how to get tickets call 403-881-4290.
Guests for the Christmas concert are welcome to park in the NES parking lot, the old preschool parking lot, Morley Community School Community gym area and along the roadway across from MCS.
