Legacy Guitar House Inc. has parted with Legacy Coffee House.
The announcement came on the official Facebook business page on Jan. 26 stating, “Please be advised that Legacy Guitar House Inc. has sold Legacy Coffee House, which will re-open under new management as of February 1, 2016. ”
Former owner Tom Powell explained to the Eagle that he wants to put his focus on the Guitar House portion of the shop.
“It is the music store and lesson academy that forms the heart of the business and is our true purpose, ” said Powell.
“I'm excited about the changes - the (Guitar House) is the core of my business which I derive most satisfaction. ”
Powell explained in an email that the Guitar House will remain under his ownership, “the music store continues to expand and that is my first love. ”

é allows us to focus on our core business of instrument sales, service and music lessons. The music store remains open. All lessons remain in effect, ” - statement from Facebook.
Legacy Productions will continue to produce live music both in and out of house, Powell said.
“We are now in our sixth year of serving Cochrane and we are not going anywhere - I've been running three businesses and I'm getting my life back. That is all, ” Powell explained.
